Gracie Jean Sheckles

Gracie Jean Sheckles, age 88, of Malden, Missouri, formerly of LaFollette, passed away on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014.

She was preceded in death by parents John & Christine (Daugherty) Burge; husband James Sheckles; brother Carl Burge; and grandson Carey Jackson.

She is survived by daughters Faye Funderburg in Winimac, IN, Jean Jackson of Gary, IN, and Omega Boreman of Bloomington, IN; sons Clifton Sheckles of Calera, AL and James Sheckles, Jr. of Malden, MO; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, and 10 step-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 - 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 5th, 2014 in the Martin Wilson chapel with funeral service to follow. Interment will follow the service at Bakers Forge Cemetery.
