Granvil Milford "Sandy" Day

Granvil Milford "Sandy" Day, age 56 of LaFollette, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Physician's Regional Medical Center of Knoxville. He was born January 4, 1961 in Jellico to the late James Milford and Willis Dean Irvin Day. Sandy enjoyed playing his guitar, digging for arrowheads, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister; Rhonda Day.

Sandy is survived by his sons; Andrew Day of Jacksboro, Joseph Day of LaFollette, daughters; Angie Wilson of Jacksboro, Jennifer Thomas of Jacksboro, brothers; Mark Day of LaFollette, Tony Day of Jellico, Donald Day and wife, Lisa of White Oak, sister; Nancy Mozingo and husband, Henry of LaFollette, granddaughter; Maelynn Day. Several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, February 20, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home; funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Larry Kitts and Rev. Allen Marlow officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Odd Fellow Cemetery in White Oak for Sandy's interment.
