Harold Powers

Harold Powers, age 79 of Lafollette went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at his home. He was a very loving father, grandfather and great grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved playing music with his family and friends. He also enjoyed working in his garden or anything to do with the outdoors.

Preceded in death by Parents: Daniel and Maggie Broyles Powers. Brothers: Chet and Lonzo Powers. Sister: Doris Ridenour.

Survived by Wife: Rose Ada Powers. Son: Brian Powers of Knoxville. Daughters: Dora Cruey of VA, Deborah Phillips of Jacksboro and Lesia Adkins of Lafollette. Grandchildren: Sheri and Angie Darby of West Virginia and Tabatha Ellison and Aaron Phillips. Great Grandchildren: Autumn and Audrey Ellison. Brothers and Sisters in Law: Eugene Powers of Pioneer, Vennis Powers of White Oak, RL and Alberta Powers of Lafollette, Delmus and Janice Powers of Pioneer and Glenn and Sue Powers of Lafollette. Sisters and Brothers in Law: Ruth Thomas of Georgia, Clara and Ed Hunter of Pioneer and Kathy and Chester Wilson of Pioneer.

Graveside Service will be 2 PM Monday, April 26, 2010 at Mountain Heritage with Rev. Delmus Bruce officiating. Interment will follow in Broyles Cemetery.
