Harold Edward Shadrick

Harold Edward Shadrick age 77 of Jacksboro, formerly of Detroit, Michigan passed away Monday, September 14, 2009 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born in Madisonville, KY. After retiring from General Motors he enjoyed the cattle business and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was a Korean War veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was a devoted husband, brother, uncle and friend. Harold was a strong Christian and a member of Lafollette Baptist Temple.

Preceded in death by Wife: Charlotte Jordan Shadrick. Parents: Ervin and Vara Blue Shadrick. Brother: Charles Shadrick.

Survived by Brothers: William R. Shadrick of Rainsville, AL and Claude Shadrick of Kiln, MS. Sisters: Betty Allred of Crossville, TN, and Nell Brown of Madisonville, KY. Sisters in Law: Mary Jordan Schrom and Harry Schrom of Royal Oak, MI, Sue Jordan Moses and Gene Moses of Louisville, TN and Jane Jordan of Redford, MI. Nieces and Nephews: Bud and Chuck Moses, Karan Stinson, Michael Schrom, Jim, Steve and Eddie Jordan and many others.

Funeral Service will be 8:30 PM Wednesday, September 16, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Kevin Mysliwiec officiating. Interment will be 2 PM Thursday in Jacksboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 PM Wednesday night before funeral service.
