Harrison Richard Boston

Harrison Richard "H.R." Boston SR, age 72 of Lafollette passed away Friday, February 6, 2009 at the U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a retired coal mine inspector with the US Department of Labor's Mine Safety and Health Administration after 36 years of service.

Preceded in death by Parents: Willie Elbert and Dealie Armes Boston. Sister: Wanda Henry.

Survived by Wife: Iva Jo Boston of Lafollette. Sons and Daughters in Law: Richard and Kathy Boston of Lafollette, Randy and Joetta Boston of Rockwood and Reece and Angie Boston of Lafollette. Daughter and Son in Law: Twylla and David Greene of Lafollette. Granddaughters: Angela Boston, Carrie Pope, Maranda Summers, Abby and Ally Greene. Grandsons: Tyler Greene, Bryan, Hal, Curt and Tanner Boston. Step Grandson: Josh Woodward and Chris Ellison. Great Grandson: Brody Summers. Brother: Dean Boston of Helenwood. Sister and Brother in Law: Faye and David Freytag of Wartburg.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Monday, February 9, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Chuck Willborn and Rev. Mark Partin officiating. Interment will be 1 PM Tuesday in Powell Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday night before funeral service.
