Hazel Crabtree

Hazel Byrge Crabtree, age 79 of Jacksboro passed away Friday, July 17, 2009 at the St. Mary's Health and Rehab. Hazel was a member of Ivey Grove Baptist Church. She loved her family very much and she had a special and loving relationship with her grandchildren. She enjoyed bible studying, reading her bible, watching local singings and preachers on t.v.

Preceded in death by Husband: Harvey Crabtree. Son: Paul Daniel Crabtree. Father: Levi Byrge. Mother: Lucretia Paterson Byrge Robbins. Stepfather: Henry Frank Robbins. 13 stepbrothers and stepsisters.

Survived by Son Darrell and Wife Thelma Crabtree of Lafollette. Son: Dwayne Crabtree of Jacksboro. Daughter: Judy Crabtree of Jacksboro. Daughter Gina and Husband Jimmy Tomblin of Lafollette. Grandchildren: Tyler, Jackson and Lyndsi Tomblin. Brother Paul and Wife Jan Robbins of Caryville and Brother Harold and Wife Jeannie Robbins of Knoxville. Sister: Dicie Sampsell of Jacksboro. Sister Annie "Pilkey' and Husband Ed Blalock of Caryville, Sister Mary Lou and Husband Bob Stidham of Lafollette, Sister Betty Sue and Husband Johnny Money of Indiana and Sister Ruby and Husband Wayne Gamble of Speedwell. Step Sister: Geneva Hembree of AZ. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Sunday, July 19, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Rutherford officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Monday in Campbell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday night before funeral service.
