Hazel P Vinsant

Hazel P. Vinsant age 91 of Knoxville, TN passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville. She was born on July 8, 1919. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, and canning. Her family was her life. She was a member of the Eastern Star of Detroit, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her father Henry Prater and mother Ruth Burris.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years Ernest Vinsant, sons Tom Ward and wife Henrietta of Crossville, TN and Wade Rochester and wife Linda of Knoxville, TN, step-son David Vinsant, brother Wade Prater of Cincinnati, 5 grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2011 in the Martin-Wilson chapel with Rev Jim Mullins officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
