Hazel Gertrude White

Hazel "Nannie" Gertrude White, age 85 of Lafollette passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Hazel enjoyed raising her family, cooking, family reunions, outdoors, and talking about the Lord. She also loved her family very much.

Preceded in death by Husband: Howard White. Parents: Sheridan and Annie Mae Murray White Longmire. Brothers: Elmer, Lelier, Verlin, Harold, Cordell, and Delbert Longmire, and Edward White. Sisters: Bobbie Longmire, Thelma Galloway, Edith Harmon, and Juanita Brewer. Nephew: Mike Longmire.

Survived by Brothers and Sisters in Law: Roy and Marie Longmire of Wartburg and Wayne and Joyce Longmire of Jacksboro. Sisters: Betty Seaton of Wartburg, Barbara Connor of Halls and Ruth Draughn of Lafollette. Special nephews: Jeff and James Longmire of Lafollette. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Sunday, January 30, 2011 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Johnny Dabney officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Monday in Union Cemetery in Wartburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday before funeral service.
