Helen Jean Griffin

Helen Jean Wilson Griffin, age 50 of Knoxville passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospice at 2:35 AM.  Helen was of the Baptist Faith. She was a loving child, mother and grandmother. She was loved by all that met her and will be missed by many.

Helen is survived by her Mother: Ann Gillette Wilson of Knoxville. Daughter: April Griffin. Grandchildren: Destiny, Zaiah and Jerome of Knoxville. Brother and Sister in Law: Leonard and Linda Wilson of Lafollette. Sister and Brother in Law: Ann and Mike Felker of Lafollette.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM Friday at (Old Ford Town Baptist) Word of Life Church where Anthony Gibson is pastor. Pastor J.R. McMahan and Pastor Donald Proffitt will be officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Friday before funeral service.
