Herman Lee Money

Herman Lee Money, age 76, of Caryville passed away Wednesday, August 28th, 2013. He was a very loving husband of 55 years, father, and grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family, ministering, and visiting with his church family at LaFollette Baptist Temple where he pastored for 17 years. He honorably served his country in the USMC from 1955-1959.

He was preceded in death by his parents Handy Worth & Edna (Graham) Money and sister Barbara Smith.

He is survived by his wife Wilma Money Caryville; sons Chuck Money & wife Rhonda of Sevierville, Dennis Money of Nashville, and Derek Money of Powell; daughter Robin Proffitt & husband Derrick of Norris; brothers Don Money & wife Betty and John Money & wife Betty all of Indiana; sister Jane Elkins & husband Bob of LaFollette; and grandchildren Chris, Chad, and Ryan Money, Raven Aiken, and Colby & Kayla Proffitt.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 31st, 2013 from 12:30 - 1:30 pm at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow the visitation with Rev. Ronnie Arnold officiating. Interment will follow the service at Bakers Forge Cemetery. The Campbell County Honor Guard will be in charge of the graveside service.
