Idessie Meredith
August 9, 1923 — July 11, 2008
Idessie Meredith age 84 of Jacksboro passed away Friday, July 11, 2008 at the Sunbridge Nursing Home. She was a member of Elk Fork Baptist Church. She liked to piece quilt tops and to read her bible.
Preceded in death by Parents: Houston and Rebecca Muse Meredith. Brothers: Bill, Elmer, and Boone Meredith. Sister: Bessie Chadwell. Cousins: Bertie Allen and Buddy Overbay.
Survived by Sister: Bernice Wilhoit of Las Vegas. Cousins: Edna Bunch, Billie Nance, Josie Walt, Sue Allen, Ella Wells, Judy Bullock, Bobby Overbay, and Fred Overbay. Several Nieces, Nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be 2 PM Monday, July 14 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. AL Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in Red Cut Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 PM Monday before funeral service.
