Irene Leach

Irene Leach of LaFollette passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2011. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved working in her garden, canning when she was able, and looking out of her windows watching the wildlife.

She was preceded in death by her parents Boyd & Luda Beatrice Monday, husband Dewey Oscar Leach, son James Oscar Leach, daughter Carolyn Kay Suttles, one sister, and one brother.

She is survived by her long time companion Billy Cornett of LaFollette, daughters Lena Bea Hughson and husband Ronald of Newport, MI, Gorrie Leach and husband Jim of New York, Deborah Sue Leach Wallace and husband Tony Denny of LaFollette, son Mitchell Leach and wife Hollie of Speedwell, 10 brothers and sisters, 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of other friends and relatives.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. in the Martin Wilson chapel with Elder JC Monday officiating. Interment will be on Thursday, September 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Academy Cemetery. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
