Jack Davenport

Jack Davenport, age 67, of LaFollette passed away at home on Sunday, December 28, 2014. He was of the Baptist faith. Jack was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and son that enjoyed spending time with his family, playing Bluegrass music, collecting guns, riding motorcycles and his Corvette, fishing and spending time outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Willard & Lela Ersa (Watson) Davenport and infant sister Mary Alice.

He is survived by his wife JoAnn Davenport of LaFollette; sons Jack W. Davenport II & wife Angela of Portsmouth, OH and Gregg Gilbert of LaFollette; daughters Chasity Davenport & husband Kevin Kesterson of Wilmington, OH and Heather Ritchie & husband Charles of Hindman, KY; sisters Barbara Dines & husband Jerry of Somersville, OH, Almeda Hillard & husband Bill of Wincheter, OH, Sue Minton & husband David of Las Cruces, NM and Sharon Cook & husband Bob of Milford, OH; grandchildren Jack W. III, Dustin and Hannah Davenport, Joseph Gilbert, Brittany and Briana Ritchie and Jodi Ray Osborn; great-grandchildren Aaliyah Marie Wright and Jayvon and Armani Osborn.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 in the Martin Wilson chapel with the funeral service to follow with Rev. Jason Freeman officiating.
