Jack Evans

Jack Evans, age 70, of Caryville passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. He was a very loving husband of 49 years, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family, especially around the Holidays. He was a member of Lake View Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father Dewey Evans, mother Emma Parker Wells, and brothers Ralph Weldon Evans, Dewey Evans Jr., and Cameron Evans.

He is survived by his wife Zane Ann Evans of Caryville, daughters Teresa Evans Woodward and husband Rick of Jacksboro, Jacqueline Evans Williams and husband Andy of Clinton, and Erica Evette Evans of Caryville, brothers Wayne Evans and wife Elizabeth of Caryville and David Evans and wife Fonzie of Jacksboro, sister Dewetta Raye and husband James of South Carolina, grandchildren Brandon Carroll of LaFollette, Ashton Woodward Jones of Hampton, VA, and Tristen & Trent Goodman of Caryville, and 2 great-grandchildren Jaiden Jones of Hampton, VA and Jaxton Carroll of LaFollette.

Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2012 at Lake View Baptist Church with Rev Roger Stanley officiating. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 in the Evans Cemetery.
