Jackie Ray Shepard

Jackie Shepard age 51, of Powell, Tennessee , formerly of LaFollette, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 17, 2009. Jackie enjoyed working as the Electrical Supervisor at Travis Meat, Inc. for many years. He was of the Church of God Faith and he cherished his family and friends. Jackie enjoyed classic car shows and restoring his 1970 RS Camaro.
Jackie was the loving husband of Kathy (Gearing) Shepard, and father of two precious sons, Paul Jacob Shepard and John Joseph Shepard.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise (Roberts) Shepard and father in law, Paul F. Gearing of Jacksboro, Tennessee.
He was survived by his loving wife, Kathy (Gearing) Shepard, Sons, Paul Jacob Shepard and John Joseph Shepard, Father, Jack A. Shepard of LaFollette, sisters Carolina (John L. Curtiss) and Teresa West, nieces, Candace and Rachel West, Mother in law, Geneva Gearing and brother in law, Dan Gearing.
Funeral service will be 8 PM Monday, April 20 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Larry Nix, Rev. Harry James, and Rev. Leon Roberts officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Tuesday in Jacksboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Monday night before funeral service.
