James Edward Amick

James "Ed" Edward Amick, age 69 of Speedwell, departed this life on Monday, April 1, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on February 13, 1955, to the late Ralph and Clarice Amick. He was a loving husband of 12 years, father, and grandfather that enjoyed working with heavy equipment.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death his brother Lonnie Blevins.

He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years Sandra Amick of Speedwell; son James Amick and wife Kari of Florida; daughters Christy Orange of Indiana and Kimberly Fraiser and husband Travis of Indiana; brothers Kent Blevins and wife Barbara, Colin Belvins and wife Judy, and Tennis Blevins and Alice; grandchildren Jonathan Amick, Annalise Amick, Matthew Fraiser, and Abigail and Bronn Orange; sister-in-law Nancy Blevins; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Campbell Memorial Gardens.

The family has entrusted the care of James "Ed" Edward Amick to Martin Wilson Funeral Home "Where Families Matter Most."
