James David "Chili" Rutherford

James David (Chili) Rutherford, age 59 of Caryville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 29, 2022. He was born on November 19, 1962. James enjoyed detailing cars, hiking in the woods, joking, and aggravating his family, whom he loved very much.

He is preceded in death by his mother Fayetta Rutherford.

He is survived by his loving father James Rutherford and stepmom Ruby Rutherford; son David Ray; daughters Pandora Rutherford Coppock and Sharon Rutherford; 6 grandkids; brothers Rickey Rutherford and wife Syble, and Donnie Rutherford; sisters Rhonda Bunch, Patricia Rutherford Brown and husband Jeff, and Melissa Gianbolvo; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, February 4, 2022 with funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Tom Reece officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM on Saturday, February 5, 2022 to go in funeral procession to Willoughby Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.
