James Everett Gross

James Everett Gross, age 88, of LaFollette passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at LaFollette Medical Center. He was a member of Ford Town Baptist Church. He loved to watch baseball games on TV and retired from Imperial Reading Corporation after 37 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents James & Callie (Ragle) Gross, wife of 55 years Glenna Ford Gross, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

He is survived by his son Terry Lynn Gross & wife Verna Lynn of LaFollette, brother Charles Gross & wife Catie of Knoxville, grandchildren Amanda and Brandy, step-grandchildren Jeanette, Tina, Renee and Billy, 3 great-great-grandchildren and several other great and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Ford Town Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow with Rev. Tim Dupuy officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Bakers Forge Cemetery.
