James L Jessie

James L. Jessie, age 81 of Jacksboro departed this life Thursday, July 5, 2018.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  James enjoyed hunting, fishing for walleye, and camping in Michigan.

He is preceded in death by parents Oscar and Edna (Godfrey) Jessie; infant daughter Kimberly Lynn Jessie; brothers Jewell Jessie, Oray Jessie, and D.R. Jessie; sisters Wavalee Hix, Joyce Ann Bracther, Gladys Jessie, and Frieda Collins; grandchild Shawn Matthew Sizemore.

He is survived by wife Opal Jessie of Jacksboro; son Tim Wylie & wife Margaret of Jacksboro; daughters Margaret Rundle & husband Tony of Michigan, Jeanna Hess & husband Larry of Texas; grandchildren David McCurdy and Eric Sizemore; 9 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Sunday, July 8, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 8 PM with Rev. Sampson Ridenour officiating. Friends and family will meet 10:15 AM on Monday July 9, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Campbell Memorial Gardens for 11 AM interment.
