James Larry Miller

James Larry Miller, age 86 of LaFollette departed this life Tuesday, November 14, 2017.  He was a member of Faithway Assembly of God church.  James was a loving husband of 65 years, loving grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family.  He also enjoyed playing jokes & pranks on everyone, and riding his 4-wheeler in the mountains.

He is preceded in death by parents David & Olga Elizabeth (Boone) Miller.

He is survived by wife Ponchieta Miller; daughters Kathy Applewhite & husband Morris of Lakeland, Florida, Mary Ann Burgio & husband Charles of Sparr, Florida; brothers Tommy and Steve Miller; sister Patsy Miller; brother in law Condy Daugherty of Devonia, TN; 5 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 12 PM – 1 PM Thursday, November 16, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home.  Funeral Service at 1 PM with Rev. Steve Bruce officiating followed with interment in Anderson Memorial Gardens.
