James Michael Powers

James Michael Powers, age 54 passed away February 1, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born April 10, 1963 in Campbell County to the late James and Anna Mae Marlow Powers. James enjoyed fishing and hunting ginseng. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Lynn Powers.

James is survived by sister, Sandra Kay Vandergriff and husband, Cecil of Speedwell; brothers, David Powers and wife, Sandra of Habersham, Scotty Powers and wife, Andrea of Habersham, Timothy Allen Powers of Habersham, and Bobby Ray Powers and wife, Julie of Habersham. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 11 AM – 12 PM Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 12 PM with Rev. Israel Douglas officiating.  The interment will follow funeral service at Broyles cemetery in Pioneer.
