James W Queener

James W. (Jimmy) Queener, age 66 of Jacksboro passed away on Sunday July 14, 2013.
He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Mr. Queener was a devoted husband of 47 years, a loving father and grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, he loved farming and working the land.

Preceded in death by Daughter: Carrie Queener. Parents: Gifford Monroe and Doris Harkins Queener.

Survived by Wife: Carolyn Lamb Queener of Jacksboro. Son: David Queener and wife Melie Durham of Mich. Daughter: Krystal Andrews and husband Phillip of Knoxville. Brother: Daniel Queener and wife Sharon of Jacksboro. Sisters: Gail McGhee of Jacksboro and Lea Ann Loomis and husband Mitchell of Jacksboro. Grandchildren: Kelsie, Caden and Carlie Queener, Olivia and Aubrey Andrews. A host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Tuesday July 16, 2013 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Jim Mullins officiating. Family will receive friends from 6-8PM before funeral service. Interment will be 11 AM Wednesday July 17, 2013 in Jacksboro cemetery with the Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of graveside service. The family has requested in lieu of flowers make donations to Disabled American Veterans.
