James Lewis Siler

James Lewis Siler, age 86 of Lafollette passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Cumberland Village Nursing Home. He attended Cumberland Heights Mountain Assembly Church of God. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. James loved reading his bible and fishing. His family was his life.

Preceded in death by Parents: Adam and Cora Carr Siler. Brothers: Charles, Ernest and Raymond Siler. Sister: Mildred Siler.

Survived by Wife: Allie Siler of Lafollette. Son: James Donald Harmon of Jacksboro. Daughters and Sons in Law: Sherry Linn Siler and Samuel Frey of Pattersonville, NY. Rebecca and Curt Rees of Lexington, KY. Sandra and Terry Nahrwold of Fort, Wayne, Indiana. Grandchildren: Sara, Shawn and Steven Frey. Brothers and Sisters in Law: Denny and Rosalie Siler of Anchorage, Alaska. Hobert Siler of Fairborne, Ohio and Chester and Mary Siler of Jackson, TN. Sisters and Brothers in Law: Retha and Raymond Towe of Crocker, MO. Reba and Buster Tiege of Williamsburg, KY and Lois and Jerry Loudermilk of Corbin, KY. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 7 PM Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Jim Loudermilk and Rev. Chester Siler officiating. Interment will be 11:30 AM Wednesday in Angel Cemetery in Stearns, KY with the Jellico Honor Guard in charge of graveside services. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday night before funeral service.
