James Franklin Tidwell

James Franklin Tidwell, age 62 of Lafollette passed away Monday, June 8, 2009 at the St. Mary's Residential Hospice in Knoxville. He was of the Baptist Faith. James was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and received the medal of commendation.

Preceded in death by Parents: Blaine Tidwell and Sarah Walden Johnson. Brothers: R L, Benny and Woodrow Tidwell.

Survived by Wife: Donna Daugherty Tidwell of Lafollette. Brother and Sister in Law: Clellean and Nancy Tidwell of Pioneer. Sister and Brother in Law: Julie Johnson and Bruno Pauletto of Knoxville. Step Brothers: Michael and Marcelle Johnson of Breman, GA. H.L. Johnson of Lake City and Gary and Tricia Johnson of Pikeville, TN. Several special nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Wednesday, June 10, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Delmus Bruce officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Thursday in Campbell Memorial Gardens with the Campbell County Honor Guard conducting services. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday night before funeral service.
