J.B. Boshears

J. B. Boshears went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 22, 2008. JB was born in LaFollette, TN on September 1, 1925 to Bertha (Violet) and Millard Boshears, the third of thirteen children. J.B. came to know the Lord at an early age and was a member of Alder Springs Baptist Church. He loved fishing, hunting, working with his honey bees, gardening and listening to bluegrass gospel music. He will be remembered most for his gentle, quite nature and the love he had for his family and friends.

Preceded in death by his Loving Wife: Gracie Nelson Boshears, Parents: Bertha and Millard Boshears, Brother: Virgil Boshears, Sisters: Florene Ford and Florida Moore. 1 Infant Brother.

He will be sadly missed by his family, Son: Jerry Michael Boshears of LaFollette, Daughter: Barbara Nelson McCullah, Son in Law: Dennis McCullah, Granddaughter: Katie McCullah of LaFollette.Sisters: Flossie Robbins of North Vernon, IN. Fontella Napier of Paris Crossing, IN. Faye Ingram and Brother in Law: John Ingram of Flat Rock, ALA. Frances McCarty of LaFollette. Brothers: Clarence Boshears, Sister in Law: Anita of Springfield, OH. Nash Boshears and Sister in Law: norma of High Point, GA. Aarnold Boshears of North Vernon, IN. Eddie Boshears of Flat Rock, ALA. And a host of Nieces, Nephews,and Friends.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Tuesday, June 24 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. OD Hill and Rev. Steve Elkins officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Wednesday in
Bakers Forge Cemetery. The Family will receive Friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday night before funeral service.
