Jb Ford

JB Ford, age 83 of Jacksboro formerly of the Grantsboro Community passed away early Saturday morning December 20, 2008 at his home. Mr. Ford was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict and member of Demory Baptist Church. He loved his job at the Lake City Hospital and never would take a vacation or a day off from work. He loved to distribute calendars from the funeral home. He kept the staff in all kinds of vegetables especially poke salad and tomatoes.  His family was his life.

Preceded in death by his Wife: Norene Isley Ford. Daughter in law: Debbie Ford. Parents: Joe and Belle Nelson Ford. Seven brothers and four sisters.

Survived by Sons: Jay Harold Ford & wife, Tammy. Johnny Ford and wife Terri  all of Jacksboro. Grandchildren: Daniel Lance and Danielle Sheets. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Monday, December 22, 2008 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. James Dunn officiating. Interment will be 2 PM Tuesday in Jacksboro Cemetery with full military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday night before funeral service.
