J.C. Ward

J.C. "Jr" Ward, age 67, of Jacksboro went home to be with the Lord on July 4th, 2013 at LaFollette Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mike & Gertie Ward, son Jeffrey Lynn Ward, brothers John and R.L. Ward, and sister Thelma Brown.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Pearl Ward, son James C. Ward of Stony Fork, daughters Joann Willoughby of Caryville and Courtney Ward of Jacksboro, brothers Luther Ward & wife Pat of Jacksboro, Fred Ward & wife Rita of Crossville, and Bill Ward of Jacksboro, sisters Lois Gibson & husband Kenneth of Jacksboro, Betty Allen & husband Rev. Don Allen of Caryville, and Alma Byrd of LaFollette, grandsons Cody, Josh, Derrick, Brandon, James, and Jeffrey, granddaughter Tiffany, great-grandchildren Sadie & Jerian, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8th, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev Lee Phillips & Rev Mike Kerley officiating. Interment will be on Tuesday, July 9th, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Beech Fork Cemetery.
