Jennie Lee Martin

Jennie Lee Martin, age 59 of Caryville, TN finished her journey on September 17, 2022. Jennie fought a long courageous battle with Lyme disease. Jennie had a great love for animals, especially her past family pets, beloved cats Misty and Bubba, as well as their German Shephard, Bear. She also, fed many neighborhood animals including her family of racoons.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother Avery Shown and Elsie Shown Warman; and father-in-law Bud Martin.

Jennie is survived by her husband of 41 years Kenny Martin of Caryville; mother-in-law Virginia Martin of Jacksboro; sisters Ella Pierce of Jacksboro, Anita Norman and husband Tommy Norman of LaFollette; brother-in-law Mitch Martin of Jacksboro and Paul Martin of Jacksboro; sister in law Gail Bond of Lake Charles, LA; also a host of nephews, nieces, whom she loved dearly, special friends/cousin Linda Jones, and Lonnie Phillips.

A visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Family and Friends will meet on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Campbell Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 AM graveside service with Rev. Bobby Ray Wilson officiating.
