March 24, 1988 — May 4, 2008

Jeremy Shea Chesney, age 20, of Knoxville passed away May 4, 2008 as a result of an automobile accident. He was born March 24, 1988. Jeremy was a member of Jacksboro First Baptist Church. He loved baseball, basketball, golf, football and playing video games. Jeremy graduated from Anderson County High School and presently attended Pellissippi State and was presently Assistant Baseball Coach at Pigeon Forge High School. He was a member of the first Anderson County baseball team to make the State Championship baseball tournament and was a 4-year letterman in football and baseball. As well as his love for baseball, he also enjoyed golf and playing video games. Jeremy also loved being with family and friends.

Preceded in death by Grandfathers: Earl Pack and James Chesney. Great Grandmother: Sylvania Luttrell. Great Grandfather: Henry Luttrell.

Survived by Mother: Lisa Chesney of Knoxville. Father: John Chesney of Knoxville. Grandmothers: Gloria Chesney and Wanda Pack. Uncles: Mark Pack, Eddie Pack, James Chesney Jr. Uncles and Aunts: Bryan and Elizabeth Pack, Greg and Sheila Nelson, Skip and June Beutle. Cousins: Ashley Pack, Sierra Nelson, Joel Nelson, Brandon Pack, Christian Pack, Iris Goldflies, Johnathan and Mandy Chadwell, James Chesney III, and Ronald Scott Chesney and precious dog, Jessie.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 8 from 5 to 8 PM at Powell Church, 323 Emory Road in Powell. Funeral Service will be 8 PM following receiving of friends with Rev. G.W. Boles officiating. Graveside Service will be Friday, May 9 at 11 AM at Campbell Memorial Gardens in Jacksboro.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Pigeon Forge High Baseball Team Program or Anderson County Baseball Boosters.

Martin Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
