Jerry Queener

Jerry Queener, age 58 of LaFollette passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a very loving dad, brother and uncle who enjoyed listening to and playing music and spending time with his family and friends. He loved life and meeting new people and he never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Preceded in death by Son: Christopher Queener. Parents: James Edward and Frances Seiber Queener. Brothers: James Edward and R.L. Queener. Sister: Shelby Jean Queener Wilder.

Survived by Son: Jeff Queener of LaFollette. Daughter: Frances Queener of Michigan. Several grandchildren. Brother and Sister in Law: Kenneth and Mary Queener of Indiana. Sister: Alice Faye Queener of Duff. Brother in Law:Marshall Wilder of LaFollette. Sister in Law: Janice Queener of Michigan. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM Saturday, June 28, 2008 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Bro. Dewayne Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Peabody Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Saturday before funeral service.
