Jerry Wayne Steakley Sr.

Jerry Wayne Steakley Sr. age 71 of Jellico, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024. He was born on April 26, 1953, to the late Jack Steakley and Cora (Perkey) Steakley. Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Jones Steakley; his son Billy Joe Steakley; brothers Ronald Steakley, Jack Steakley, and Tommy Steakley.

Jerry is survived by his son Jerry Wayne Steakley Jr. and Loretta of Harriman; brothers Hubert Steakley of Scott County, Johnny Steakley of LaFollette; and Scottie Steakley of Oklahoma; sisters Janice Adkins of LaFollette, Nancy Salyers, Mary Bell Rollow of Greenville; Diane Catania and Reno of Michigan; and Vickie Loyd and Ronnie of LaFollette; grandchildren Daniel Steakley, Sammi Jo Farmer, Hillary Steakley, and Teasa Ulrich; great-grandchildren Madeline, Isabella, Samuel, Boyd, Nevaeh, Alika, Zalen, and Alyvia: and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home (305 E. Beech Street, LaFollette) with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM.
