Jerry Tackett

Jerry Tackett, age 52 of Jacksboro passed away suddenly Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Campbell County. Mr. Tackett was a member of Beech Fork Baptist Church. He was a very loving father, grandfather that enjoyed hunting and gardening and spending time with granddaughter Suzanna Tackett who was his pride and joy.

Preceded in death by his Father: Arlie Tackett. Nephew: Mark Tidwell. Grandmother: Ollie Green.

Survived by Daughters: Angela Tackett of Rockwood and Ashton Tackett of Jacksboro. Granddaughter: Suzanna Tackett. Mother: Blanche Tackett of Lafollette. Brother: Robert Tackett of Jacksboro. Sisters and Husbands: Mary Ann and Glenn McKamey of Caryville. Saundra and Ed Housley of Lafollette. Maggie and Von Bacon of Athens, Texas. Regina and Brent Luallen of Caryville. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Monday, August 16, 2010 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Lee Phillips officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Tuesday in Beech Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday night before funeral service.
