Jessie May Shelton

Jessie May Shelton, age 72, of Caryville passed away Thursday December 4, 2014. She enjoyed her garden especially her roses, listening to Elvis, dancing and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by parents William Sterling Shelton and Callestine Bruce Shelton, brothers Lloyd"Bud", Foister Lee, Oscar Hewitt, Burton McCoy"Pood", Burgin Deloy"Muv", twin brother Johnny Lester and James Shelton, sisters Pernie Gwin, Laura Sharp, Sarah Evans and Lilly Shelton.

Survived by daughters, Becky and husband Doug Howard, Tonya and husband Gary Toler of Rocky Top, Theresa and husband Cory Welch of Boling Springs, SC, Roxie Shelton and Rachel Shelton of Caryville, grandchildren Maria Howard, Ben Howard, Josh Toler, Amanda Toler, Kevin Youngquist, Autumn Welch, Cora Shelton and Mahala Shelton, brothers Pete and wife Bonnie Shelton of Caryville, Don and wife Brenda Shelton of Caryville, special friends Pat Murray of Caryville and Charles "Lou" Lindsay of Georgia.

Family will receive friends 6:00:-8:00 pm Monday December 8, 2014 in Martin Wilson Chapel with funeral service to follow with Rev. Junior Dilbeck and Rev. Charles Harness officiating. Interment will 11:00 am Tuesday December 9, 2015 in Shelton cemetery
