Jimmie Baker Leavitt

Jimmie Baker Leavitt, age 69, of Jacksboro passed away Sunday August 31, 2014. Mr. Leavitt was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, he was a very loving husband, father, grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, he enjoyed fishing and camping.

Preceded in death by parents O B and Maggie Morrow Leavitt. daughter Jacqueline King, grandchild Jamie Harbin,

Survived by wife Elena Green Leavitt of Jacksboro, daughter Janet Ellison and husband Terry of LaFollette, son James Leavitt and wife Jennifer, stepsons Theodore Norman and wife Jennifer, Jonathan Norman and wife Kaliegh all of LaFollette, brother Allan Leavitt of Monitor, WA, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons, several other family members and friends.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday September 2, 2014 in Martin Wilson Chapel with funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Jimmy Orick officiating. Interment Wednesday September 3, 2014 in Pleasant Ridge cemetery.
