Joan "Loretta" Jones

Joan "Loretta" Jones, age 66 of Huntsville, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born on May 1, 1955, to the late Estel Jones and Mae Edith (Chadwell) Jones. She enjoyed dancing, shopping, and family gatherings. She was also of the Holiness faith where she had the "gift of Gab".

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Larry Jones, Lonnie Jones, and Charles Henry Jones; sisters Lora Lee Spradlin, Mildred Fuhr, Geraldine Steakley, Clara Jane Jones, Shirley Market, Edna Ell, and Bobbie Sue Parker.

She is survived by her daughter Angela MacLaine and husband Michael of Sevierville; brothers Earl Jones and wife Nikki of Ohio and Danny Jones of Duff, TN; sisters Lois Webb and husband James of Duff, Debra Price of Duff, Kim Roberts and husband Danny of Indiana, and Linda Jones of Duff; brother-in-law Jerry Steakley of Jellico; grandchildren McKenzie Dobbs and Tyler Shaffer and wife Taylor; great grandchild Hazel Gray Wheeler; and several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Funeral service will be at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. James Leach officiating. There will be a visitation from 6:00-7:30 PM following the funeral service.
