Joan Louise Willis

Joan L. (Diss) Willis, age 83 of LaFollette, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, peacefully in her sleep. She was a member of the West Cumberland Baptist Church in Middlesboro, Kentucky and attended Mt. View Baptist Independent Church in LaFollette. Joan was the daughter of John ad Dorothy (Sigman) Diss, and granddaughter of Joseph and Jessie Sigman.

She is preceded in death by husband William Willis Jr.; daughter Jacqueline Miller; infant son Roger Lee Willis; brother Harold Eugen Diss

She is survived by sons William Ray (Terry) Willis of Ledena Ranch, California and John Allen Willis of Florence, Arizona; daughters Rose Marie (Jerry) Neiger of Massillon, Ohio, and Cora Willis-King (Zach Sheets) of LaFollette, Tennessee; brother Kenneth (Martha) Diss of Cambridge, Ohio; sister Shirley (William) Hockenberry of Charlotte, South Carolina, Martha Coates of Boston, Massachusetts, and Margorie (Ronnie) Warner of Byesville, Ohio; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 12 - 1 PM Friday, September 23, 2016 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home; funeral service following at 1 PM with Rev. Jimmy Orick and Chaplain James Dunn officiating.
