Joetta Boshears

Joetta Boshears, age 67 of Lafollette passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 at her home. She was a member of Demory Baptist Church. Joetta loved quilting and working jigsaw puzzles and loved her family very much.

Preceded in death by Parents: Lee B. and Mildred Newby Shepherd. Sisters: Wanda Voyles and Ollie Shepherd. Brothers: Charles, Glenn and James Shepherd.

Survived by Husband: Garfield Boshears of Lafollette. Son and Daughter in Law: James Garfield and Amy Jo Boshears of Norfolk, VA. Daughters and Sons in Law: Millie and Jimmy Henegar and Patty and Leo Holt all of Lafollette. 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Sisters: Emma Roberts and Judy Buffmire of Jacksboro, Mary Fisher of Marietta, GA, Alice Gardner of Merit Island, FL., Linda Wheeler of Knoxville, Joyce Scarborough of Coco Beach, FL. Special and Dear Aunt: Mary Brandenburg of Shackelford, VA. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Tuesday, October 26, 2010 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Danny Lee Orick and Rev. Lawrence Henegar officiating. Interment will be 2 PM Wednesday in Pond Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday night before funeral service.
