John Leonard Ferguson

John Leonard Ferguson, age 81, of Jacksboro passed away on Saturday August 11, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family.  He was of the Christian Faith.  John enjoyed telling jokes, making people laugh and reminiscing, he loved spending time with his children and his grandchildren. He served in the United States Army.

Preceded in death by Parents; Leonard J. and Agnes Blankenship Ferguson, Grandson, Noah Seibers, Sister; Maxie Kitts.

Survived by wife of 52 years Devonia Ferguson of Jacksboro, Daughters; Audrey  Douglas and husband Romney of LaFollette, Jeanna Seibers and husband Chad of Pioneer, Brothers; Jack Ferguson of Knoxville and Bruce Ferguson of LaFollette, Sister, Effie Goins of LaFollette, Grandchildren; Olyvia Douglas, Ashton Seibers and Hollie Seibers.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 pm on Monday August 13, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, funeral service will follow at 8:00 with Rev. Jeff Bullock, Rev. Jim Bolton and Bro. Chad Seibers officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15 am on Tuesday August 14, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home and go in procession to Powell Valley cemetery for 11:00 am interment with Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of graveside service
