John Earl Reynolds

John Earl Reynolds, age 84 of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017.  He was of the Baptist faith and loved attending services of different local churches, when he was able.  He loved to work and enjoyed gardening, chopping wood, and squirrel hunting.

He is preceded in death by his parents Matt and Pernie (Meredith) Reynolds; son Steven Craig Reynolds; grandson Michael Jason Reynolds; brothers Howard, Robert, Ernest, Charles, and Woodrow Reynolds; sisters Evelyn McCullah, Edith Ayers, and Freida Meredith.

He is survived by wife of 63 years, Virginia Yvona Reynolds of LaFollette; children Mike (Linda) Reynolds of Knoxville, Kathy (Lynn) Goins of Jacksboro, Judy (Dennis) Teague of Knoxville, and Keith (Renea) Reynolds of LaFollette; brothers James (Pauline) Reynolds of Stinking Creek, and Lon Edward Reynolds of Dandridge; sisters Pauline Green of Stinking Creek, Ruby Fay Reynolds of LaFollette, and Anna Mae Reynolds of Michigan; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 1 on the way, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and family.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Sunday, January 8, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 8 PM with Rev.  Larry Russell officiating.  Friends and family will meet 9:30 AM Monday, January, 9, 2017 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home for the 10 AM interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
