Joseph Calvin Ayers

JC Ayers, age 78, of LaFollette passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Beech Tree Manor. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching Westerns, baseball games, and he loved his family very much.

Preceded in death by his parents Marson & Magnolia Ayers, brothers James and Steve Ayers, and sisters Martha Ayers and Ruby Pierce.

Survived by his sister-in-law Louola Ayers of LaFollette, nieces Lois Ayers, Iva Jewell Dilbeck and husband JR, Charlotte Hutcherson, and Phyllis Hatfield and husband Elbert all of LaFollette, nephew Curtis Ayers of Flora, IN, special friend James Weaver, and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 4th, 2012 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev Jimmy Orick officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Interment will follow the service in the Hall Cemetery.
