Joseph Gossage

Joseph Gossage, age 91 of LaFollette, Tn., passed away Saturday morning June 21, 2008 at the St Mary's Health & Rehab in LaFollette. Mr Gossage was a member of the Campbell Co. Masonic Lodge #778 F&AM. For over 50 Yrs. And the IAM Machinist Union.  A retired  Machinist from Y 12 Oak Ridge after 32+ yrs. & taught Machinist in Campbell & Anderson Counties. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening & wood working. He had a special talent for carving peach seeds, & loved his family very much.

Preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Cora Dalton Gossage. Grandson, MatthewHenegar. Sisters, Grace Brooks & Iva Howell. Brothers, Paul & Bob Gossage. Son in law, Jerry Irwin.

Survivors, Wife Oneida Ridenour Gossage. Daughter, Linda Irwin. Daughters & Son in laws. Peggy & Boyd Henegar, Kim & Todd Allen, all of LaFollette. Grandchildren, Todd Irwin & wife Lesley, Knoxville. Colby & Tyler Allen, Lafollette. Great granddaughters, Madelyn & Megan Irwin, LaFollette. Special niece, Robin Waller, Knoxville. Brothers John & George Gossage, both of Ohio. Several nieces, nephews & host of relatives & friends.

Masonic Service by the Campbell Co. Lodge 7:45 PM. Monday with funeral to follow at 8 PM. Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Don Whited officiating. Interment 11AM. Tuesday Bakers Forge Cemetery.  Family will receive friends 6 to 7:45 PM. Monday Martin Wilson Funeral Home LaFollette.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Campbell Co. Masonic Lodge #778 F&AM. East Central Ave. LaFollette.
