Joseph Edward White

Joseph Edward White, age 82 of Lafollette passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the St. Mary's Health and Rehab in Campbell County. He was a member and deacon of East Lafollette Baptist Church. Joseph loved blue grass music and restoring old cars especially 55 Chevy's.

Preceded in death by Parents: Sheridan and Anna Murray White. Sister: Juanita Brewer. Special Friends: Earl Freeman, Troy Ausmus and Bob Chadwell.

Survived by Wife: Jimmie White of Lafollette. Son: Lewis Edward White of Lafollette. Daughter and Son in Law: Cheryl Dianne and James "Mike" Hatmaker of Caryville. Grandson: Chase Michael Hatmaker. Brothers: Wayne Longmire of Jacksboro and Roy Longmire of Wartburg. Sisters: Hazel White and Ruth Draughn of Lafollette, Barbara Connor of Knoxville and Betty Seaton of Wartburg. Several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and very special friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Saturday, August 28, 2010 at East Lafollette Baptist Church with Rev Hobert McCreary officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Sunday in Powell Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday night before funeral service at the church.
