Joyce Carline "Jobie" Harness

Joyce Carline "Jobie" Harness, age 77 of Jacksboro, departed this life on April 29, 2024. She was born March 23, 1947 in Caryville to the late Carl and Joyce Charlene Wyrick Harness.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Lynn Harness; siblings, Woody Harness, Lenda Harness, Brenda Harness, and Ella Beach Gross; father of her children, Glenn Marlow.

Joyce is survived by her son Rodney "Ronnie" Harness and wife, Bobbie Sue; daughter, Jessica Howard; sister Lisa Ladd and husband, James; grandchildren, Randy Harness and wife, Rachel, Trista Harness, Cody Brown, Joey Brown, Cara Poston, and Caden Poston; great grandchild, Gracelynn Harness; several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will meet at 9:15 AM on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home and go in funeral procession to Jacksboro Cemetery for a 10:00 AM graveside service with Rev. George Asbury officiating.
