J.P. Hatfield age 75 of Jacksboro went to glory Thursday February 24, 2011 from his earthly home. He was a loving Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather that loved spending time with all his family. JP was devoted to his church family and a dedicated member of Charity Worship Center for many years.
Preceeded in death by wife: Barbara Jean Caddell Hatfield. Daughter: Vickie Lynn Hatfield. Parents: Melvin and Sadie Lewallen Hatfield. Brother: Clifford Hatfield. Sisters: Pearl Visage, Magnolia Baird.
J.P. is survived by Daughter: Linda Halcomb Jacksboro. Sisters: Jessie Arthur Lafollette and Hazel Wilton North Carolina. Grandchildren: Brian and wife Amanda Hatmaker and Jennifer and Arlie Hammitte. Great Grandchildren: Lindsey Hammitte, Kateline and Kayla Hatmaker. Special friend Judy Bolton and host of nieces, nephews and other relative and friends.
Funeral Service will be 8:00 PM Sunday February 27, 2011 at Charity Worship Center with Rev. Harry James and Rev. Leon Fritz officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Monday February 28, 2011 in Glade Springs cemetery with the Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of graveside services. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 PM Sunday before funeral services.
