Katherine "Kathy" Ann Palmer

Katherine "Kathy" Ann Palmer age 75 of Melrose, Florida, passed away on Sunday, July 28 2024 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. She was born on February 25, 1949, to the late Warren Hatfield and Elizabeth Bunch. Kathy had a passion for growing irises and arts and crafts.  She was an accomplished gardener holding officer position for various Iris society and winning many awards for her irises and arrangements. She also loved spending time with her many pets and animals: Rocky, Peggy, Chrissy, and Lovey, Bennie, Mike The Cat, Spike, and Frankie. Kathy especially loved spending time with her friends and family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Henry Palmer.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband Ross Muir: son Michael Palmer; and brother Warren "Butch" Hatfield.

Visitation will be from 1:00-1:30 PM on Sunday, August 4, 2024, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at Campbell Memorial Gardens with Rev. Sampson Ridenour officiating.

Flowers are welcomed.  Donations can be made in Kathy's name to ASPCA.
