Kathrine Irene Weldon

Kathrine "Irene" Welden age 70 of LaFollette passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the Golden Loving Center in Clinton. She was a member of Chasky Church of God. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, cross word puzzles, canning, and loved all especially her family very much. She will be greatly missed by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Preceded in death by Father: Elemer Welden. Brothers: Elemer, Thurman, and Steve Welden. Sister: Berthie Guy.

Survived by Mother: Graice Welden of LaFollette. Sisters: Aldy Taylor, Mildred Murray, Bobbie Dodds, Barbara Brandenburg, Hannah Green, Joyce and Lindsey Kennedy, and Linda Shelton. Brother: James Welden.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Friday, December 4 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Harry James and Rev. Audie Murray officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Saturday in Peabody Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Friday night before funeral service.
