Kellie Goodney

Kellie Goodney age 50, was called home to Jesus’ arms on Sunday September 20th, 2026, at home.

Kellie was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church who was a pure and faithful soul. She expressed herself through dance, music and uplifting those around her through her witty humor and infectious elation. Along with her talents, she enjoyed camping, spending time with family and friends, and watching her favorite shows and movies: SpongeBob, Curious George, Roger Rabbit and The Wizard of Oz.

Kellie is celebrated as a Special Olympics athlete, a Sunshine Ambassadors dancer, a member of Bright Horizons work center, and most of all, a bright light in our hearts.

Kellie is preceded in death by her grandparents: Maria and Richard DeSavage, Iris and Albert Goodney, sister Carrie Goodney, Aunt Lisa Hinsberg, brother-in-law Kevin Johnson.

Kellie is survived by her parents: Charles and Christene Goodney, Caryville, TN. Brother and sister-in-law: Alex and Lisa Goodney, Romeo, MI. Sisters and brother-in-law: Caryn and Tom Braden, Clarkston, MI. Ericka Johnson, Sand Point, ID. Special Niece: Ondrea Goodney, Caryville, TN. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of special friends.

Kellie’s viewing will be held on Friday, September 25th, 2026, at 10:30 AM located at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Funeral mass immediately following at 11:30 AM. The internment will follow mass at Woodlawn Cemetery.
