Kennith Taylor

Kennith Taylor Sr. born March 12, 1948 to Cinda and John Taylor in Pineville, KY. Born again and totally dedicated to the Lord about 15 years ago. He did his best to live as pleasing to the Lord as he knew how. Kennith was very ill for many years but prayed on and on for the Lord to heal him (as He had healed him many other times.) Kennith always let people know how he loved the Lord and wanted them to know that the Christian Life is a good life. He testified of how he asked the Lord to heal his body and he said "I know if He doesn't heal me here - he'll heal me someday when I get over there." I believe it and I'll stand on it till the day I leave this world. I'll have a new body - Thank you Lord. Kennith was a member of Ivey Dell Pentecostal Church of God. He was the most wonderful husband, partner and friend to his wife of almost 43 years, Becky Taylor. He was loved so much by his 2 Sons: Kennith Jr. and Eddie Taylor all of Lafollette.

He is also survived by Brothers: Edd Taylor and Wife: Loretta, Jess Taylor and Wife: Lorraine, Lonnie Taylor and Wife: Judy. Sisters: Sue Smith and Ella Nolan all of Lafollette. Sister in Law: Brenda Meadows and Husband: Glen of Midlothian, Illinois. Brother in Law: Raymond Eskridge of IN. Kennith had many nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews and their children that dearly loved him. A special little great niece Lauren that called him papaw. Many brothers and sisters in the Lord and friends that he never failed to tell them he loved them. He would want me to tell you all one more time "I love you and I'm waiting for you all over yonder - what a wonderful, beautiful place."

Funeral Service will be 12 PM Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Ivey Dell Church of God with Rev. Ray Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Bakers Forge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday night at the funeral home.
