Larry James Cooper

Larry James Cooper, age 67 of Lafollette passed away Friday, April 9, 2010 at the St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. Larry was a member of New Vision Ministry. He enjoyed woodworking, crafts, furniture, working in his garden and family cookouts. He also loved spending time with his kids and restoring old cars.

Preceded in death by Parents: James W. and Burdine Cooper.

Survived by Special Friend and Caregiver: Alice Faye Cline. Sons and Daughters in Law: L.J. Cooper of Germany. Jeff and Michelle Longmire and James and Tonya Longmire all of Lafollette. Terry Longmire and Mary Kennedy of Oklahoma. Daughter: Tina Cooper of Columbus, GA. Daughter and Son in Law: Kathy and Bill Cumming of Naples, FL. Grandchildren: Eric, Kandi, Jamie, Tosha and Harley Longmire, Emanuel, Sam and Lovanna Castro. Great Grandchildren: Destin, Aiden and Benjamin Castro. Brother: Roger Cooper of FL. Sister: Wanda Tollenaar of Iowa. Niece: Rhonda Huffman of Iowa.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM Tuesday, April 13, 2010 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Don Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in Powell Valley Cemetery with the Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday night at the funeral home.
