Larry Ray Harness

Larry Ray Harness, age 70 of Caryville, passed away at his home on Friday, October 19, 2018. He was born in Caryville on October 14, 1948. Larry was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Red Ash Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by parents, Leamon and Sallie (McGhee) Harness; and his loving wife of 36 years, June Harness.

Larry is survived by his sister, Margaret Terry and husband Danny of Elk Valley; companion, Barbara Sharp of Jacksboro; children, Melinda and Clarence Rose of Elk Valley, Larry W. Harness and Stephen Martinak of Knoxville, Gary Harness and Dawn Rutherford of LaFollette, Terry and Barbara Harness of Caryville, and Rev. Leamon and Erica Harness of LaFollette; grandchildren, Melissa and Drew Russell, Dillin Harness and Kaysie Carroll, Rebekah and Cody England, Faith Harness, Cheyanne Harness, Hannah Harness, Maria Douglas, Donna Marie Rose, ; great grandchildren, Brylin and Brooklyn, Jacey-June England; nephew, Stephen Terry; niece, Stephanie Terry; and host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, October 22, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Larry's funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Don Allen and Rev. Mark Braden officiating. Family and friends will meet on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home at 10:00 AM to go in funeral procession to Marlow Cemetery in Caryville for a 11:00 AM interment.
